About

For 63 years, the Catalina Art Association has been committed to keeping Art Alive in Avalon.

Events

We love an Art Show! That’s why we hold 2 each year. The Annual Catalina Festival of Art in September and The Catalina Island Art & Craft Festival every Easter weekend. If you love Art and Catalina Island, don’t miss one of our spectacular events!

Art Culture

Our community has amazing Artists! Many have gone on to enjoy extremely successful careers. The Catalina Island landscape has been painted by some of the worlds best Artists too. We are proud to have been a part of sharing our amazing Island with the rest of the world.

Workshops

Artists from all over the world come to Catalina to paint. Over the past 50 years, we have hosted many amazing workshops. If you are an Artist who would like to do a workshop or someone who would like to attend, contact us and keep an eye on our site for future dates.

Giving Back

The Catalina Art Association is proud to have been awarding students with Art Scholarships for many, many years. With the help of our local teachers, we inspire our youth and instill the important of Art in our world. We watched with joy as students reach and surpass their goals in Art education.

Kids & Art

We are a community rich with talented and creative Kids. Art always brings a smile to your face and nothing does that better than watching a child experience Art. We participate in all kinds of charity events in Avalon and always try to bring an artistic element, especially when it comes to children.

Art History

Through the years, the Catalina Art Association has dedicated itself to the preservation of Art. We work with local organizations with research and art exhibits. We also publish an annual Art Magazine that highlights our Art History. We believe it is as important to look back as it is to envision the future.
